     Future Directions, April 18-19, 2001


I  would  like to call your attention to the Workshop on Supply Chain Management
Practice  and  Research: Status and Future Directions to be held on April 18-19,
2001.   It  is  co-sponsored  by  the  Robert  H.  Smith School of Business, the
National Institute of Standards and Technology, the National Science Foundation,
Center  for  Logistics  (Pennsylvania  State  University),  and the Supply Chain
Council.   The Workshop will be held at the University System of Maryland Campus
in Rockville (Shady Grove).

The speakers are some of the top researchers and practitioners in the SCM field.
Eighteen  papers  will  be presented.  Registration is only $150 and includes, 2
lunches, coffee breaks and the Workshop Proceedings.
