Dear Colleague,
As you know, there has been a lot of news about RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) in the popular press lately. Much of this has been about RFID using Silicon chips. Did you know that alternative, chipless RFID technologies have made much headway in several applications including document security, product tagging and tracing, and other paper based applications.
Rensselaer's laboratory on Chipless RFID (CL-RFID) will be hosting a conference that will bring together the world's leading practitioners, researchers and users of identification technologies to disseminate information about alternative non-chip based technologies including RFID for identification, track and trace.
