Deming article and LOC research

DENizens,

I got a note from Joyce Orsini alerting me to a new article on Deming
written by DENizen and Fordham Deming Scholar Beth Blankenship and
Professor Peter Petersen.

The article: "W. Edwards Deming's mentor and others who made a
significant impact on his views during the 1920s and 1930s" appears in
the Journal of Management History, Vol. 5, No. 8, 1999, pp. 454-467.

Where, you might ask, would researchers find background material? The
vast majority of Dr. Deming's personal files, correspondence, and etc.
are now archived in the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

For information on accessing the Deming collection, contact the W.
Edwards Deming Institute.
