Deming held many vies of business, but for certain that "nobody gives a hoot 
about prifits, I should say sustained profits (Deming audio). To be in 
nusiness means part of the aim is to earn a profit unless your in the 
non-proft sector, then this is to spend the profits made in business...let's 
get real.... Deming was in business, he taught, provided a service, and made 
a profit.  

Or did I go to dental school just to resolve global dental pain. There is a 
balance in society between ideal and application
