I believe the issue in not getting people interested in the Red Bead but
getting them interested in variation.  Once that has been achieved it is
easy to get folks to participate in the Red Bead.  The primary barrier is
their time.  I devote about 2.5 hours to ensure they have a good chance of
catching on.  That time is doing the math for them or demonstrating the math
with an Excel Macro program.  If they do the math more time is needed as
many do not have the skills.
