I have not commented on the ISO9000:2000 discussion but feel compelled to
add this short note.  As a consultant I have purposefully not provided ISO
services as I felt the standard fell far short of my definition of TQM that
includes Dr. Deming's teachings.  However, I welcome the changes because
while it (IMHO) still falls short it is a move (a large one) in the right
direction.  I have not decided if I will personally begin to support ISO,
but this discussion has been helpful in my thinking through of this personal
issue.  - Thanks to all
