Please refer to , "Out of the Crisis," (ISBN 0-911379-01-0) page 86 at
the bottom titled, "Plan for Action."
Dr. Deming wanted each business to figure out what the 14 obligations of
management, the seven deadly diseases (page 97 in, "Out of the Crisis") and
the 11 points of labor [page 208 in, "The Deming Guide to Quality and
Competitive Position"(ISBN 0-13-198441-1)], meant to them. Management is
responsible for letting their interpretations be known throughout the
company. Management is responsible for setting the environment that allows
open communications that allows understanding and acceptance of what their
interpretations are. Management is responsible for changing interpretations
that are not desirable. Management is responsible for nurturing the
environment for continual dialogue that supports continual improvement.
I disagree with something either because I do not fully understand or
because I feel it violates something.
To disagree means I assume the responsibility of seeking to understand.
This is the challenge that many do not take on.
Our World needs to exercise principles that support the survival of all.
The abundant mentality has to be operationally defined by our leaders.
Senior leaders are busy playing the shell game or hide and go seek, most the
time because that is what they were trained to do.
Children are the closest to world outsiders. Children are taught early
how to do that which supports their local community and so we build and
maintain barriers (These barriers prevent the exercising of principles that
support the survival of all). Our actions for student exchange from country
to country indicate that we realize this.
Student exchange is good, but it is not the total desirable action
required by our consumers. The consumers need to be able to, "Exercising
principles that support the survival of all."
To summarize, The quick question and fast resolution or the fast decisions
are not as desirable now. To ask a question like, does anyone disagree with
me will get many yes answers while asking the question, does anyone
understand me will get many no answers.
I am the center for all disagreement, I am the understanding and
resolution for all disagreement too. We all must obtain understanding of
each other through dialoging and knowing that we are all, "I's".
Knowing that we will change, my heart goes out to all those children in
the past who did not benefit. Our world team will move only as fast as the
slowest member and members are slow because they feel successful by being
slow (They were taught to be that way). How could they know?
