RE: where can I find the definition of TQM ?

Could there be a method for providing quality to the consumer, based upon
a certain philosophy?
A method is pictorially displayed as a Figure, in the beginning of the
book, "Out of the Crisis." The ISBN is: 0-911379-01-0. The method I
address is not TQM.

I think that TQM was introduced as a program. This program took on value
to those who got into the task of TQMing. It was not operationally define
and most of all, a theory was not published. Each business develop their
own TQM program. Baldridge was injected into society to get businesses to
blend and hopfully develop a more concise definition of what an unidentified
grouping of desired activities would mean. Baldrige called them Criteria.
This activity was disruptive to the norm. It was a political thing that
could kill a career, so most CEO's stayed away until it was safe. Now that
production and profit information is available, businesses are trying to
design their unique answer to providing quality (staying in business).

  Respectfully,
  Charlie
