RE: Questions about Dialogue

Can someone please explain to me how Dialogue
1. Avoids the problem Deming often cited of executives meeting together
without guidance... and off we go to the Milky Way?
2. Differs from what we are already doing? (And if it does, why is it
better?)

P.S. I been in several "Deming Dialogue" sessions and have never been
impressed by them. I've seen Senge "do dialogue" and found that less than
impressive as well. (Is there anyone who really does Dialogue well?) Any
studies showing under what conditions Dialogue produces superior results
(and what kind of results)?

 Regards, Richard

[Moderator's Note: Not for Richard, perhaps, but Alan Winlow's recent
note about the Transformation Network meeting mentioned John Varney
as their next speaker. IMHO - he is the next best thing to Bohm.
