One additional note to Alla's message:

In Outlook 2000 (bundled with Office 2000), you have to do something
slightly different. You still go to tools and options, and then to the "Mail
Format" tab to set your email preferences. One thing you may notice,
however, if you have Office 2000. DEN messages come in in plain text, and if
you hit the reply button, your reply window defaults to plain text, so maybe
Microsoft actually did have a customer-focused moment (maybe Steve Prevette
or Mike Tveite can figure the odds on THAT one...it would be too large a
number for me!)
