Application of Deming's theories into Service Companies

I am starting a dissertation on the above subject and would appreciate help from any individuals who have applied Deming theory into a Service Company. I am particularly interested in the successes and failures, people may have had and any modern alternatives of Deming's 14 points which may have a more relevant usage in todays society.
