Clauson's "Call"

DENizens,

A "Call" could be in the poker game, stock market, or parliamentary
procedure context -- in each case, it is basically signals time to stop
talking and either take action or not.

On the issue of support for the DEN:

1.  There is both support and concern, although I sincerely hope the
concerns will not become issues. 

2.  Some folks clearly are interested in supporting the DEN, while
others are either reluctant or unable to assist.  Both groups have my
support.

3.  The process is totally voluntary and will not effect access to the
DEN web site or this discussion list.

4.  IF you are interesting in voluntarily supporting the DEN, I have set
up a web page at:
	http://deming.ces.clemson.edu/pub/den/support.html

5.  From nearly 6 years experience with the DENizens, I know I cannot
make everyone happy -- but I trust this will at least satisfy those with
an interest either way.

6. I would request that any additional questions or comments be sent to
me directly at jim@jclauson.com  and not the DEN.

7.  OK, let's get back to the DEN Aim.
