Morris, might that not be "curiously neutral", instead? :)

As I recall, Dr. Deming mentioned that in any population 50% would be above,
and 50 below, the arithmetic mean. Thus, my rejection of both the premise
and the practice of so-called "performance appraisal" attempts.

The people who are not interested, IMO, are those in management who do not
choose to learn any more than they knew when they first were told "everybody
knows...". Well, everybody doesn't know.
