WED would talk about the unknown and the unknowable. I am sure that there
is more we have not discussed than we have. HOwever I fell that there is
an unwiillingness from the DEN to deal with practical issues - one data
point but an example was the mail from the dairy in India where we all
pontificated in reply from a theoretical point of view and offered little
in the way of practical advise. This suggests to me a lot of reading but
little understanding on behalf of the DENers.
A lot of the discussions are lose and unfocused which leads to people -
such as me - exploring the theory and endless discussion on points of
semantics, but little in the way of practice. Will we become as useful to
the Demming community as the real estate agents and hairdressers in "Hitch
HIkerg Guide to the Galaxy"?
JD as an Attorney at Law I would guess that it would take you 3.2 nano
seconds to take your own arguments apart - either from a basis of evidence
or from the basis of SoPK.
AS to lobbing Jim some dosh. I have read your arguments against this with
interest, it is good to have a disenting voice, but I can not see where
your argument hangs together. The suggestion was for a voulentary
donation, just that. Those of us who have had the dubious pleasure of
having Jim stay in our homes know how many hours he puts into the DEN.
Some of the reason that the DEN was quiet last time Jim was in the UK was
because I offered to break both his legs if he so much as went near the PC
whilst he was staying here.
Arguments that it may develop expectations against Jim that we should not
hold are one thing some of the arguments you have put forward I would not
have expected from an attorney.
