RE: On the entire "Quality Cost" Debate




Ian asked about doing it right the first time:

1.    Was Dr.D against it?
2.    If so Why?

I understand that he was against it because it assumes that if you
conscientisize (sorry for my english) everybody in the organization to do
their job right the first time quality is going to improve.  In other words
it works on the persons and not on the system.

Besides it is not a very realistic expectation.  You know, variation.
