Rip Stauffer returned the discussion to Deming. But since we're on the
subject, I wonder if the moderator (go on Jim) will allow me to point
interested DENizens to some military best practice which (if you believe
Baldrige is founded on Deming principles) is also relevant to the purpose of
the DEN.

It's Fort Benning's Presidents Award application - Baldrige in all but name
(the two awards use the same words) and particularly significant because to
the best of my knowledge it's the only full, 50-page, Baldrige application
in the public arena. A rare resource.
