An Attack on the Quality movement
- Subject: An Attack on the Quality movement

Thanks to Bob Clements, my attention was directed to
http://olam.ed.asu.edu/epaa/v3n9.html
where I found a very angry attack on the quality movement in general
and on the applicability of quality in a university setting in
particular.
The paper contains some legitimate criticisms, so I urge readers to
control their impulsivity!
Since I was attacked by name, I am considering whether or not it is
worth the effort to respond. I doubt many people have read the
document so there may be more harm in calling attention to it than
ignoring it!
The author does target some titles and phrases which I consider unwise.

Always choose words that are soft and sweet. You never know when you
might have to eat them.
[Moderator's Note: When this paper was first brought to attention a few
years ago, I contacted the author to invite him to join our forum and debate
his topic. He declined.
