I would like to extend my thanks to Rip Stauffer for a truly (IMHO) SoPK 
based commentary on Six Sigma that: 1) addressed it as a system and 
identified its aim (with operational definitions), 2) clearly stated 
variations present, 3) noted psychological impacts and reactions, and 4) 
combined these elements to develop a theory/ prediction of possible 
change/improvement.
