Notice for forthcoming meeting - Cooperating for Best Value in Construction

The network is very fortunate to have the opportunity of hosting a session
by John Carlisle. John is an active consultant working with multi national
corporations around the world. He is the author of " Beyond Negotiation"
making the case that cooperation between customer and supplier is a far more
powerful strategy for success in the long term than any adversarial approach
yet devised. Dr Deming has described this book as "momentous for improvement
of the relationships between customer and supplier".
John's session is described as a mini workshop and it is titled "Cooperating
for Best Value in Construction", an experience of partnering that enhances
the whole system..

The meeting will be at our regular venue Kirkdale Conference Centre in
Brighouse, West Yorkshire, close to junction 25 of the M62.

Coffee is between from 9.30 onwards
Presentation commences at 10.00
Buffet Lunch at 1.00pm
The meeting will close at 2.00pm
Non-members are welcome to attend , the charge being UK pound 25 including
lunch. 

How to find the venue: 
Exit the M62 motorway at Junction 25 and take the road towards Brighouse. In
approximately half a mile at the 30mph signs the Kirkdale Training Centre
sign can be seen on the left. Turn to the left and go to the end of the
road. Turn right and the car park for the facility is on the right.
