I made mention of the 'child abuse' line to my cousin who is a final year
law student. Tought that she may be interested in the idea for her family
law and human rights lectures etc. Apparently there is a case just being
started in Bristol on just this point, as are a few going through the
mechanations in Strasbourg at the European Court of Human Rights.
Suggestion is that the cases will not be found in the favour of the
children as they have not suffered enough - yet. However if any of them do
show sufficiant nervous shock their case will probably opent the flood
gates. However any such cases will have to be brought against the teacher,
school or local education authority and not "the muppet who wrote the
policy." To quote cuz.
NOw could we bring a case against out government for being so linear in
their thinking?
Oh by the way USA, nice one on the (non) election.... It is not so much
that it is so close that all the re counts are needed - we have lots of
re-counts in elections, it is just the amount of apparent vote rigging
thhat goes on. Credibility and virginity are only lost the once. NOW UK,
how good are OUR elections?????????
