Dear Denizens,

I don't know how many people knew the news about the1999 TIMSS-R report on the
'performance and ranking' of  grade 8 students of 38 countries.( A/P, Dec. 6,2000)

Although most Asia countries are quite good in the 'ranking' , I used it as a case
study in my website to demonstrate about the 'diseases' of organizations like
TIMSS-R and most educators without knowledge of variation, I mentioned that the
mathematicians and scientists of TIMSS-R need to learn from Patrick Nolan back '80.
