A targeted effort on the part of DEN members to influence the direction of
our larger society (to help optimize the system of the world, so to speak)
has been a dream of mine for some time.  To the best of my knoweldge, that
has not been seen as within the DEN's mission.  If there is now such a
desire, then I'm ready to help.
