I'm completely with John Seddon when he criticises the "Balanced
Scorecard".

That said, I'm amazed at the way Messrs Kaplan and Norton managed to
popularise (and hence make loads of money) from their conceptually
flawed approach.

Fortunately, I think the tide of experience is running against them.

I wonder what superficial and misleading treatise on measurement or
management process will take the place of the Balanced Scorecard?  Is
there no-one in the Deming community who can see their way to supplant
this old-fashioned (but hugely successful) approach?
