Re: Quality tool training a mistake-TAIWANESE VIEW SAMPLES
This is an interesting experiment.
Starting from this month, I issue monthly magazine to a dozen of people.
I mentioned some key topics of DEN in FEB. and some of them started to share
their opinions on this subjects. Many points are very difficult to translate into
English, for example, they used metaphors of different 'schools' of Kung-fu for
training and education. One talked about Deming vs. Confucius...
This reminded one idea occurred to me several days ago. P. Crosby started his
successful 'enterprise' with new recruiting. One of his hiring policy is 'not to
hire professional quality guys' since most of them are too narrow-minded-trained
(my words, for Mr. Crosby's point, please see his Quality Is Still Free.)
I pondered his point and many other related ones in this 'Quality Awards Season
in its full swing.'
