Notice of a Special Event

Friday 4th of May 2001 Dr Sheila Ronis will be presenting a workshop at a
special meeting of the North of England Transformation Network.

"Creating a Vision for The North of England: Working and Learning Together
in 2025"

Explore what working and learning in the North of England could be like in
2025 with Dr Sheila Ronis. The workshop will feature a presentation "Crisis
on Asimov", an exciting vision of the transportation industry in 2085. Then,
using vision methodology, participants will develop a vision of what it
could be like working and learning in our region in 2025. The process helps
delegates with out of the box thinking, 'probing the unknown' and thinking
'unthinkable thoughts'. 

At the end of the day delegates will take away business planning steps and
ideas for starting the change process to our future world of work and
learning.

The workshop will be at our regular venue Kirkdale Conference Centre in
Brighouse close to Junction 25 of the M62. Coffee will be available from
8:30 AM, and the morning sessions will commence at 9:00 AM. The afternoon
sessions will commence at 1:30 PM and close at 5:00 PM. Lunch will be

The fees for this special workshop are UK pound85 for members and UK
