Myron Tribus commented on the Theory of Knowledge.

Elsewhere, it has been observed that Lewis is very wordy. His writings
are also 75 years old, and perhaps do not fully address contemporary
concerns.
I would recommend that would be students of the Theory of Knowledge
become acquainted with the works of Karl Popper, specifically
"Conjectures and Refutations" and "Objective Knowledge". Both are
readily available new or second hand. Popper is a very lucid writer, and
perhaps a better complement to the SoPK than Lewis. There are of course
contrary positions to Popper's, but you need to understand Popper's
position to appreciate them.
Of course, the Theory of Knowledge is inextricably linked with
Psychology through the medium of evolutionary adaptation. For a good
entree into why knowing is "difficult", try Steven Pinker's "How the
Mind Works".
