FW: The Denlist significance

I cannot agree with the statement that people are separate from
the system. One of the important points of Dr. Deming's
system diagram is its explicit inclusion of people. Reread
Dr. Deming's proposed aim for a system; only people are
discussed. Furthermore, what is the point of a theory of
psychology if people are absent?

As people are part of the system, reducing the variation in
people, as appropriate, is necessary. This is where leadership,
teaching, and training come into play. It is also another area
where an understanding of variation is needed to determine
what variations can or should be reduced.

People are an integral part of a system, and I believe trying
to separate them from the system runs contrary to what Dr.
Deming proposed.
