Dr. Deming and the building construction industry?

Hi all,

I just discovered that one of the builders of the new apartment building I'm
moving into in NYC is interested in applying Dr. Deming's principles to his
industry.  

Did Dr. Deming ever work with the building construction industry?  Have any
of you?  Any case histories I can give this guy would be greatly
appreciated.  I may wind up with a client here who could impact the
relationship between construction unions and construction companies in NYC.
