REQUEST: Deming and adult education

I have received the following request off-DEN from Roy Anderson (
learningabc@get2net.dk )  Please copy Roy on any responses.

"I need the best book which would describe, or at least give account,
that Deming played a significant role (directly or indirectly by
Japanese's business successes in the 60 and 70's) in the development, if
not concept, of 'Adult' education. Please may I ask if you know of the
best book/pub/date to this ? At this moment, I am primarily interested
here in the design of education rather than how it can (as well
appreciated) be better designed and caused to function."
