pattern tests for CUSUM and EWMA charts


I'm conducting a study about short run SPC in aerospace industry and using 
CUSUM and EWMA charts for my data. Would anyone tell me that: can I perform 
the pattern tests that are used in Xbar and R charts for CUSUM and EWMA 
charts? I wasn't able to find any information about it in the available 
books so far. Thank you..
