RE: UK Source of Books ?

[Moderator's Note: Thanks as well to Jo, John, John, and Susan for providing this
information - I have added some of your notes to Robert's list]

Results of my request for help in obtaining books :-

There is a UK outfit called PMI ( Process Management International)
which can supply a few of the relevant books.

PMI: Process International Ltd., Argent Court, Sir William Lyons Road, University
Science Park, Coventry CV4 7EZ. Telephone 02476 41908, fax 02476 419480 or
email:sales@pmi.co.uk

PMI can deliver the next day. To order just call 024 7641 9089 between 8:30am and
5:00pm UK time or email them on sales@pmi.co.uk.

Patrick Reid (thanks Patrick) advises using Amazon ( the US version being
better stocked than the UK one).

John Crawley with Pierhead Housing in Liverpool also suggests:

On the same point I have also managed to get several books by Deming,
Wheeler, Scholtes, Joiner etc through the Inter-Library Loan facility.
Liverpool City Council Libraries charge ?2.00 per loan. You can get
virtually anything that has been in print although you do have to wait a
while.

Bob concludes:

For my immediate purposes I'll probably use SPC press (Don Wheeler's
company)  ... even though shipping costs from the US are a bit stiff  {
incidentally, for anyone who doesn't already know, the spcpress website [
http://www.spcpress.com ] is excellent. }

                        cheers          Bob
