RE: Staff Attitude

The researcher must take care to avoid the potential of bias in the
experiment. The questions one asks will be the answers one gets, sad to say.

So, if you want to test for aptitude in math, ask math questions, but you
won't know more about the nature of the student's math prowess than the few
responses to test questions.

The respondents are "inside the system", and not able to view from outside;
the responses to attitudinal questioning will be limited to the individuals
perception of their reality, in the midst of the swirl of group thinking,
group attitudes, and group expectations. For management to take and use such
limited responses will be of little value, especially in a fear-based
system, in which the response is within the context of present
circumstances, future possibilities, and family needs.

In short, a flawed waste of time but often relied upon by managers all over
the planet.
