I once had a motorbike that developed an independent conrod. Having
taken its independence to heart and trying to exit out of the front
of the crank cases I had a con rod of no independent value - in fact
I had an engine of no independent value. Whilst most of the system
was still in the right place and willing to act as part of an
interdependent whole the con rod and its bid for UDI converted a
system into scrap.
Now what was that about right sizing, optimising, redundancies etc
within a work organisation?
