Industry Standard DPPM's

This is probably the wrong question to ask the DEN because of its MBO
connotation but here goes...

Does anyone have any data sources for industry standards DPPM's or process
capability levels?

Or does anyone have any feedback regarding why to or not to use DPPM as a
business performance measure? I have to report to a Vice President, who was
an accountant in a previous career, on our DPPM performance. I would like
to compare our DPPM performance to other industries.
