Good question eh?

I've wondered the same for years now. You may recall that there was an idea
of a monitored discussion group tailored for differing levels of experience
and interest, but that it failed for lack of interest. That may turn out not
to be true; there may be many who see too much heady material and wish not
to become stuck in the definition game.

The fact that so many preface their remarks with "Deming said..." is, in my
opinion, a handicap. Did Deming ask to be glorified in this way? Would he
have said the same about Shewhart? I don't think so.

Perhaps there is a need for a multi-level capability if there is (are)
someone willing to take on the task.

All right, all those volunteers who are "above average", please step
forward!
