Greetings fellow DENizens, 

Alright, YOU ARE the MAN/WOMAN... 

The company loves you. You walk on water. Everything you do turns to gold.
Everyone wants to be your friend. You are on the fast track. Superior
performance drips from your enlarged folder in HR. You came from the right
school. You learned from the great one. You fly in a corporate jet.

Nothing is too good for you. People want you to run for Congress. They like
your style. Oh, the clothes you wear! And your spouse...too much to behold.
Talk about RESULTS! Wow! You are really something.

Just sign here that you've read the "Requirements of the Government
Performance and Results Act of 1993", and you're in the game. You know, the
one that was updated in June, 1996. I'm sure your underling sent you the
memo with the "Executive Guide" in it. Wait, I have a copy here, complete
with GAO Performance Reports from FY 2000. I'm sure you've seen them...

I know they got away from that balderdash about "activities and processes"
back in '93, thankfully. And, it was a great help to get that Executive
Guide, wasn't it? Finally got down to the basics... It's about time we got
around to being more "businesslike". What we need is results, right?
