I doubt this.

Not likely to be true. If you were a responsible
manager during WWII you were likely to be exempted
from the draft.

NOT TRUE!
Now Available: "How Quality Really Was Introduced into
Japan". An interview with Homer Sarasohn, describing his experiences
on MacArthur's staff at the end of WW II. From 1946 to 1950 Homer
introduced the principles of quality management to the new leaders of
the Japanese electronics industry. In this 3 hr 17 minute videotape,
you will learn what really went on; how the Japanese were transformed
from a country famous for shoddy merchandise to a world class leader
in manufacturing.
The tape in the format of your choice (VHS, PAL, SECAM) may be
purchased for $35, postpaid to anywhere in the USA or for $42.50
postpaid elsewhere in the World. All credit cards accepted.

Great imaginative powers -- but wrong.

"Dear Lord, grant me patience, RIGHT NOW!"
[Moderator's Note: Several years ago - Myron interviewed Homer in his home in Arizona. The
interview was videotaped and languished for several years while Myron and others attempted
to get someone interested in "dressing it up a bit" and providing fullfillment survices. Myron
finally found someone dependable that would not charge an arm and a leg - this is a cover expenses
only cost.
If you want to know what really happened on the quality front in post-WWII Japan,
this is a required resource. The companion piece is Homer's CCS manual Myron also helped
bring to the public eye - it is available for download on the DEN web site at:
