RE: Stirring things up



  Psychology is in the System of Profound Knowledge.
  Toto (He worked with Dr. Deming for years) told us that the main function
of the brain is to filter so sanity is maintained.  Sanity as defined by the
individual experiencing his/her own filtering.  For this reason we need
others to help us get near the whole picture.  We must share and cooperate
without dominating to push hidden agendas.
  Even the most talented or highest I. Q.'d, be there such a thing, are
filtering constantly.  
  Building joy and pride of work, through cooperating allows the human race
to get more out of each situation.  It is the Ego and Critical parenting
that destroy cooperation.  
  People believing they are being mistreated, be they well fed or starving,
search for assurance.
  Cooperating people who feel joy and pride of work, having the assurance of
the resource providers, will do most that is required of them in order to
continue receiving assurance.
  Hence, Managers of resources are responsible during good times as well as
lean times.  Senior Managers cooperating set the example for others to
cooperate.  
  Managers also have egos and filtering unites that enable unpredictable
processes to be perceived as predictable.
Senior Managers need to build trust and cooperation.  If a process is really
unpredictable managers must be allowed to say that without fear.  Many
companies run with unpredictable processes.  Having all know that and having

  
  I am wrong in my thinking and actions at times.  I make mistakes.  I need
the help of others.  I choose to think they need my help.
  
  I believe that the children of the world are the future of the world.  The
actions of many managers in the world have indicated that the children of
the world have no value at all.  
  Many times I have said that nurturing peace is a lot harder than nurturing
war.
  We, cooperating will make less mistakes.
  We cooperating throughout the world so all children are fed and assured
will happen as soon as all our world managers (keepers of the resources)
start cooperating.
  
  If Dr. Deming delivered The System of Profound Knowledge of someone else.
If the System management methods were delivered by someone else.  If the
charting systems were delivered by someone else.  If the idea of nurturing
pride of work were deliver by Juran or Sarashon.  So what!
  This philosophy and methods better assure the future for our children.  I
respect and thank all those who have contributed to what we call the Deming
Philosophy.
  Each of us might well start applying this philosophy and setting the
example.
