I would direct your attention to p 132 + 133 of TNE.
See also pp 70-71 and pp 85-90.
Based upon D's writing in above citations, I have made the
assertion on the DEN (If you search the DEN you will find
it, no doubt)that the Whole is not equal to the sum of
parts but equal to the sum of the parts plus the infinite
sum of the parts PLUS the infinite interactions of the
parts(known and unknown).
Where W = the whole
and where A, B, C, etc. equal parts
and where (...) equals an interaction
W = A + B + C + D ...
+ (AB) + (AC) + (AD) + ...
+ (BC) + (BD) + ...
+ (CD) + ....
+ (ABC) + (ABD) + (BCD) + ...
+ (ABCD) + ...
+ ...
Because, an interaction may be negative, zero, or positive, the W may be greater than, equal to or less that
its parts.
