I have been searching for such an illustration all my life.

But. I guess it has to be very specific, very particular, so
possibly not of very much use for other situations.

I guess this is why I find Japanese "copying" (equals
Western Europe "benchmarking") so difficult.

By the way, I have a paper report made by European
Foundation for Quality Management some years ago,
which markets the link between quality and economics.
But I am not sure about the scientific theory behind it.

Apart from this, I am really curious in learning whether
you  receive some responses!
