RE: Balanced Scorecard

P Good asked for information about issues/challenges with implementing the Balanced Scorecard.

I have led a deep analysis on this and my organisation will be publishing the results next week.
I would be delighted to mail the report to anyone who wants it. Regrettably it is Swedish.

As far as we could see the main challenges with using the Balanced Scorecard are the unnamed and unmeasurable which cannot be compared with "hard recourses" such as money, buildings or machines. Also on this side of the scorecard you can not only expect enhanced variation but also a lack of common definitions, reliable and valid methods and solutions which can be applied more than at a particular time or place. Our conclusion was that this has to be solved in some way to make the scorecard useful
