What a potent combination we set on; a hard science approach to management that is more than anything a competitive strategy.
Why then such failure outside Japan? Why hasn’t the “Sleeping Giant” waked up? It is like we have driven off the paved road onto the dirt one … dust everywhere. The dust in the form of employee abuse and failure is very much a part of the world I live in. There is no other word that better describes the dust in my world than violence.
I have watched WED in those video tapes play the part of a foreman. He didn't even come close to real world foremen.
We should be ashamed of ourselves. We have the know how to transform the world we live in and we haven’t.
Is going off and studying one more psychologist or reading one more book going to help? How about action, specific hard aimed action? We have the hard science of management down pat, a hard science that gives to a company above all else the competitive advantage to put in the waste bin all its competitors who depend upon violence to succeed.
What are we waiting on >>> one more book to read? Do we believe in ourselves or not?
I want to tell you the pain out here in the working world is overwhelming. Help!
I am wishing you the best always and wanting you to ask: What do you propose Will Decker.
Best,
Will
