- Subject: Lack of Deming Philosophy in Education

Deming asked what was the aim - Then he said boldly aloud, "That's =
right! To................ Give that=20
person a gold start!" ( From S Cheek)
To confirm the above - Deming's aim - as expressed in the New Economics =
was "to start the reader on the road to knowledge and to create a =
yearning for more knowledge"
Is this the aim of the education system? or is more to do with =
qualifications?
Is Deming's aim at variance with that of education?
