Have appreciated Donna Brown and other contributions on "strategy and =
mission"

To me the bit that no one has mentioned yet is "THEORY"

To quote from his chapter on Leadership in "The New Economics" Deming =
states:

"How may he accompany transformation. First, he has theory"

Not only does the individual have theories but also the organisation. =
This is of course what McGregor was saying way back in 1960 when =
espousing his X & Y theory.

So when considering strategy and mission one should also consider theory =
- what is the theoretical underpinning of the present and what is the =
theoretical underpinning to be of the future?=20
