Red Bead "simulator"

Hello all,
I'd like to be able to create (or find, if one already exists) an algorithm/program that could create random results within, say, a normal distribution. That is, I could set up the parameters such as number of willing workers, mix of red and white beads, number of indentations in paddle, number of production days, shifts per day, etc., and then the program would generate a set of results for each worker per shift.

Anyone have any ideas/advice/help?
