I am sure there will be many responses to this post. Richard does not have
enough data for control charts, at least 8 for an indication and 15 for some
confidence.

Perhaps he should look for something else to plot? Critical dimensions on
each part produced maybe? Incoming material quality? Sit down with the
"workers" and ask them for ideas to improve yield. I bet they will be able
to help.
