From Gordon Hall and the The Deming Learning Network,
"our actions, and the methods we use, evolve out of how we think"
Professor (emeritus) David Kerridge- -
Why Isn't Everybody Doing It?
On Monday 20th March 5.30 to 7.30pm at RGU Schoolhill in room C221
It is 50 years since the Deming Management Philosophy revolutionised
Japanese industry. And 20 years since it was taught to thousands of
managers in the West. Yet it is still largely ignored or misunderstood.
To change this we must not only understand the Deming Philosophy itself,
but the barriers to its understanding and application.
Not easy - but let's try.
The above challenge applies not only to Deming's teachings but to that of
all other modern thinkers. There is a massive gap between the research
into management over the past decades and its actual application - David
is addressing an extremely important challenge.
In David Kerridge we are also very fortunate to have in our midst one of
the worlds most respected scholars of the Deming philosophy in the world.
It is a great asset we have right here in Aberdeen.
To cover the administration costs for organising such events the DLN
reluctantly finds that it now has to charge a minor fee - £20 for non
members and £10 for DLN members. If requested we will provide electronic
invoices
See you On Monday 20th
