One big difference between Deming and Taylor was in how they viewed the worker. Taylor viewed the worker as the cog on a machine; simply mindless. Deming dignified the worker. Both Deming and Juran believed that 85 percent of the problems in organizations were problems which were systemic rather than worker based.
