Hello Everybody

The individual is a system.

A single human being is more complex than any city or institution created by
humans.
When two humans interact the result of that interaction is another order
again of complexity.

Far from advocating ways to control the complexity of human interactions
Deming understood that it was those restrictions  that actually prevented
people from performing.

If we create the environment that allows the individual to perform they will
astonish us with their industry.

If we recreate that environment in an organisation the magnitude of that
performance improvement is huge.
