PDSA - supporting docs from Cliff Norman

Cliff Normal ( cliffnorman@sbcglobal.net  ) sent me a message about 
the PDSA discussion and asked if I could post 2 documents to the 
DEN.  See below.

Cliff:  "Attached is a brief article that Ron Moen and I wrote 
several years ago that gives a brief history on the evolution of the 
PDSA cycle. The PDSA cycle pretty well follows the scientific method. 
Deductive learning from P to D and Inductive Learning from D to S. 
Deming and Shewhart added
Act because in business action needs to take place. In an academic 
setting we can do Plan - DO - Study - Publish."

Cliff:  "Also attached is a great article from Dr. Clayton 
Christensen at Harvard is who is very critical of Business School 
professors who are quick to publish without proper field testing of 
their theories. See his Descriptive and Normative Models."
